- (bugfix) A heavy CarePlan enrollment no longer uses up every database connection
Bug Fixes
Enrollment could exhaust database connections
Enrolling many CarePlans at once could take every database connection. Later requests failed, including the short lock operations that keep that work from colliding. Those locks stayed held, and the server remained stuck until it was restarted.
Starting with 2.6.3, those locks use their own connections, so ordinary requests keep theirs. On PostgreSQL, a session waiting for a row that another transaction holds gives up that wait instead of keeping its connection indefinitely. No configuration change is required.
